What we collect, and why

Job alerts. When you sign up for alerts we store your email address or WhatsApp number, which page you signed up from (for example "Kukatpally jobs"), and when. We use it only to send you matching school jobs.

Job posts, school claims and partner enquiries. When a school or college fills in one of our forms we store the organisation's name and area, the contact person's name and phone number, and what they tell us about the job or partnership. We use it to call them back, check the job and publish it. A published job shows the school's name and the email or WhatsApp number the school chose for applications. It never shows the form-filler's personal number unless they chose it for applications.

Applying for jobs. When you apply, you email or WhatsApp the school directly. That message doesn't pass through School Mandi, and we don't see or keep it.

Technical data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address to deliver pages and block abuse, and may run a bot check on our forms. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add website analytics, we'll update this page first.

We don't collect data about school students, and the site isn't meant for anyone under 18.

Your consent

By submitting a form you agree that we can use those details for the purpose stated next to the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time. Reply STOP to an alert or contact us, and we stop at once.

How long we keep it

• Alert sign-ups: until you unsubscribe. We delete your email or number within 30 days after that.
• School and college enquiries: for as long as we're working with that school or college, and for up to two years after the last contact, for our records.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent personal data. Data is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site and its database, and its servers may be outside India. We'll disclose data if the law requires us to.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct, complete or update it;
• delete it;
• nominate someone to act for you if you can't.

We reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For a change that affects you, we'll tell you before it applies.
